As an affiliate of Old Glory Gym we adopted their individualized movement philosophy to our fundamental approach in creating a foundation & baseline of effective movement for athletes that translates across all sports.
All sports require a certain degree of physical skills, strength, endurance, coordination and technique. What sets an athlete apart and levels up their game is their athleticism. We train for speed, strength, agility & quickness that will set an athlete apart.
Our programming emphasizes the development of explosive kinetic energy that starts with the feet and includes hips, glutes, and core. In conjunction with their strength and power development, we spend time focusing on footwork. Agility cannot be achieved without proper footwork. By mastering control of your center of gravity along with good feet an athlete can explosively change direction, initiate movement, and maintain balance. Quick and efficient reaction time can be the difference between a W and an L.
Wins & losses are important but so is injury prevention. Our team of coaches train good form, good positioning, and good transfer of energy through the body’s natural range of motion reducing risk of injury on the field.
Working out at the gym isn't easy. But getting there shouldn't be hard. Old Glory Gym is located and easily accessible from all of Ashburn.
